TIESS
"Trent International Exchange & Study Abroad Society"
TIESS was founded by past Trent exchange students under the Trent Study & Exchange Program. Visiting exchange students will be partnered with Trent students who have studied abroad or current students interested in studying abroad as part of their degree at Trent. The Trent student will share all their knowledge of Trent, Peterborough and Canada to help incoming exchange student make the most of their time at Trent. Incoming exchange students will provide information about their home country and university, and help Trent students who are considering a study abroad.
Goals
- Create friendship with the Community of Trent;
- Provide a support network for students who are studying abroad;
- As well as to act as an information resource for all parties involved.
Registration:
- Exchange students will have the opportunity to register in TIESS before they arrive;
- Trent students will have the opportunity to register in their first, second or third year during the summer, ISW week or first week of school in September;
- Required to sign and submit a registration form.
